Here is a beautiful pair of basin pillar taps with lever handles. Also available with crosshead handles. Here the taps are shown with a chrome finish but the whole range is also available in Chrome, Nickel and Pewter finishes.
You can match your taps to your basin. Most modern taps and basins go very well even if either are in a more traditional style. However, generally a tap with a low spout & gently tapered porcelain lever handles will compliment a large square or rectangular basin. So definitely this will look good on a lovely Art Deco basin or a large Victorian basin: a curvy monoblock tap looks perfect on a smaller cloakroom basin. Many Edwardian wash-hand basins were smaller and often original cloakroom basins can be updated with new taps. A wall mounted tap is ideal for a modern, surface mounted bowl.
